NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Two Wally runs and a Rullo Monster fumble recovery were enough as the defense held tough down the stretch in a 2014 win over EA

MP exploded for 5 TDs against CHA. Jay Calhoun threw for 250 yards and connected for 3 TDS to Doc and one to Mike Murray. Cap set the tone early with a 49 yard rumble for a score.

Wally Shields totaled 200 yards of offense and 3 TDS as MP downed the Cadets from Valley Forge. Fumble recoveries by Chris Corcoran and Mike Murray set up two of the scores. On the day the MP offense carved out 313 yards of total offense.

3 short runs amount to 5 yards and 3 TDs, two by Cap and 1 by Brian Kolmer against a tough Penn Charter team. Cap, Brian and Alan Ameche led the defense down the stretch to seal the win.

Salesianum came in thinking that there was no way MP could upset them two years in a row. Like last year the Sallies were one of the top teams in Delaware. The defense stifled the Sallies offense and held them to 142 total yards. A Shield’s TD reception and short Brian Kolmer plunge were all the points that were needed. Salesianum came in at 7-1 and left at 7-2.
